JOIN US FOR A ONE DAY DESIGN POP UP AT SOUTH BLOCK TO DISCOVER A SELECTION OF BOOKS, PRINTS, PLANTS AND MORE!

Come and spend the day with us on Sunday 24th May! We're bringing together books, prints, + more from Concrete Nature, Hot Pink Press, Of Source! Press and Plottere, alongside with beautiful plants from Fox Botanics and coffee + matcha from Pineapple Expresso at South Block from 10.00 to 16.00. All under one roof, for one day only! Entry is free, and dogs are welcome. 

Junk Journal Workshop
Alongside the pop up in the gallery space, we will be running a junk journal workshop in the project space from 11.00 to 12.30. During this 90min workshop you will learn the 5-holes pamphlet stitch bookbinding technique to create your own journal using a selection of papers, offprints, line sheets and ephemera. This workshop is suitable for adults of all levels, no prior skills required, all materials will be provided. Our workshops welcome everyone, from complete novices to seasoned creatives keen to nourish their own practice. This is a ticketed event, advance booking is essential as spaces are limited. Location & Transport
South Block is located at 60–64 Osborne Street, Glasgow G1 5HQ. There is on street parking around the venue and a large car park across the street. There are several Blue Badge parking spaces around the venues, to find the different locations visit bluebadgeparking.com for more information. The venue is also accessible via public transports. The nearest train station, Argyle Street, is a 4 min walk from South Block. St Enoch is the nearest tube station and it is a 9 min walk from South Block.

About the venue
The gallery space where the pop will be taking place is wheelchair accessible from ground level. Please note the workshop will take place in the project space, it is only accessible by a short flight of stairs, the project room is not wheelchair accessible.
